Andy graduated with a first class honours degree in Chemistry from The University of Nottingham in 2006. After graduating, Andy joined the Leeds office of Harrison Goddard Foote in August 2006 as a direct entrant to the profession.
Andy’s university course provided him with in-depth knowledge of all the major branches of chemistry and a comprehensive understanding of practical synthetic and analytical chemistry. In his final year, Andy specialised in nanomaterial synthesis and characterisation. Professionally, he works in a range of fields from pharmaceuticals and process development to nanomaterials and fuel cell technology.
Since joining Harrison Goddard Foote, Andy has been involved in the preparation and prosecution of both UK and European patent applications and has gained experience working with a diverse range of clients including individual inventors, university technology transfer departments and international companies.
